How to reach Vrindavan from Kolkata
Kolkata to Delhi is about 2 hours 15 minutes by air. Then a cab to Vrindavan, 3 to 3.5 hours. Trains from Howrah to Delhi take around 17 hours, so most families fly one way at least.
For travellers from Kolkata
Bengal has a deep bond with Braj. The Gaudiya tradition of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is rooted in Vrindavan, and many guests from Kolkata come for Radha Kund, the Seva Kunj lanes and the Gaudiya temples. We can plan the days around that, with a guide who knows the sites and the stories.
A simple plan
- Day 1: reach, rest, evening aarti in Vrindavan.
- Day 2: Mathura (Janmasthan, Dwarkadhish, Vishram Ghat) and Banke Bihari, whose timings vary by season.
- Day 3: Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon, or Gokul and Raval, then the return.
How we look after you
We try to follow the path Krishna gave in the Gita: keep dharma at each place we take you, and own the responsibility for the whole trip. You deal with one team for the pickup, the cab, the room at Laladham and the guide. If something changes, we change it with you, and not after.
