How to reach Vrindavan from Mumbai
The easiest plan is a morning flight from Mumbai to Delhi, about 2 hours 15 minutes, and a pre-booked cab from the airport to Vrindavan, about 3 to 3.5 hours. You can be at the temple by evening aarti. Overnight trains also run towards Mathura Junction, so check IRCTC for your date.
For travellers from Mumbai
From Mumbai most people have only a long weekend. We plan a two night trip around flights: land Friday morning, evening aarti in Vrindavan, Govardhan and Barsana on Saturday, Mathura and the drive back on Sunday.
A simple plan
- Day 1: reach, rest, evening aarti in Vrindavan.
- Day 2: Mathura (Janmasthan, Dwarkadhish, Vishram Ghat) and Banke Bihari, whose timings vary by season.
- Day 3: Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon, or Gokul and Raval, then the return.
How we look after you
We try to follow the path Krishna gave in the Gita: keep dharma at each place we take you, and own the responsibility for the whole trip. You deal with one team for the pickup, the cab, the room at Laladham and the guide. If something changes, we change it with you, and not after.
