How to reach Vrindavan from Patna
Patna to Delhi is about 1 hour 50 minutes by air. Then a cab from the airport to Vrindavan, 3 to 3.5 hours. Trains from Patna to Delhi are long and overnight, and from Delhi you take a cab.
For travellers from Patna
Many guests from Bihar come for Govardhan parikrama and Mathura. We can plan a short stay of two nights, with Govardhan on the second day and the return flight the third morning.
A simple plan
- Day 1: reach, rest, evening aarti in Vrindavan.
- Day 2: Mathura (Janmasthan, Dwarkadhish, Vishram Ghat) and Banke Bihari, whose timings vary by season.
- Day 3: Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon, or Gokul and Raval, then the return.
October to March. Chhath and Diwali season is crowded, and fares are higher on flights.
