How to reach Vrindavan from Lucknow
Lucknow to Mathura is around 340 km by road, mostly on the Lucknow-Agra Expressway and then NH19, about 6 hours. A cab can take you to Vrindavan in a day. Or fly to Delhi in about 1 hour 15 minutes and take a cab from there.
For travellers from Lucknow
Lucknow families commonly drive for a long weekend. Break the day with a stop at Agra if you like, and keep the first evening for Vrindavan aarti.
A simple plan
- Day 1: reach, rest, evening aarti in Vrindavan.
- Day 2: Mathura (Janmasthan, Dwarkadhish, Vishram Ghat) and Banke Bihari, whose timings vary by season.
- Day 3: Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon, or Gokul and Raval, then the return.
How we look after you
We try to follow the path Krishna gave in the Gita: keep dharma at each place we take you, and own the responsibility for the whole trip. You deal with one team for the pickup, the cab, the room at Laladham and the guide. If something changes, we change it with you, and not after.
