How to reach Vrindavan from Jaipur
From Jaipur the road is the simplest way, about 240 km to Mathura through Bharatpur, around 4.5 to 5 hours. A cab with driver takes you straight to Vrindavan, and you can add Deeg or Kaman on the way if you wish.
For travellers from Jaipur
Jaipur is close enough for a three day weekend. Govind Dev ji and Gopinath ji were brought to Jaipur from Vrindavan for safety centuries ago, so many Jaipur families come to see the original seats of the deities in Vrindavan.
A simple plan
- Day 1: reach, rest, evening aarti in Vrindavan.
- Day 2: Mathura (Janmasthan, Dwarkadhish, Vishram Ghat) and Banke Bihari, whose timings vary by season.
- Day 3: Govardhan, Barsana and Nandgaon, or Gokul and Raval, then the return.
How we look after you
We try to follow the path Krishna gave in the Gita: keep dharma at each place we take you, and own the responsibility for the whole trip. You deal with one team for the pickup, the cab, the room at Laladham and the guide. If something changes, we change it with you, and not after.
