By air: Kathmandu to Delhi to Vrindavan
The simplest route is a flight from Kathmandu to Delhi, about two hours. A cab from Delhi Airport takes 3 to 3.5 hours to Vrindavan, and by evening you can be at an aarti. Book your return so that you leave Vrindavan at least six hours before an international flight.
By road via the border
Many travellers cross at Sunauli (Bhairahawa), which leads to Gorakhpur and Lucknow, or in the far west at Mahendranagar and Banbasa. Either way, the distance to Mathura is long, and it is a journey of one to two days with a night on the way. Citizens of Nepal can currently enter India without a visa, but carry valid ID at the border and check the current rules.

What to see, and in what order
We follow the path Krishna gave in the Gita and keep dharma at each place we take you. In plain terms, we keep our word on the timing, the cab and the stay, and take responsibility for the whole trip.
- Prem Mandir in the evening, when the temple is lit.
- Banke Bihari, with timings that vary by season.
- ISKCON Krishna Balaram Mandir, and the Yamuna ghats.
- Mathura, Govardhan and Barsana if you have a third day.
