Fitting Braj into a short break
The UAE weekend is Saturday and Sunday for many people, and several airlines run direct flights to Delhi every day. A typical trip: fly Thursday night, reach Delhi after midnight, rest, and be in Vrindavan for Friday evening aarti. Saturday for Mathura, Govardhan and Barsana. Sunday morning for a last darshan and the road back to Delhi.
UAE time is one and a half hours behind India. Plan the return to the airport with a cushion, as the last stretch into Delhi can be slow.
What UAE visitors ask us most
We follow the path Krishna gave in the Gita and keep dharma at each place. Practically, that means honest timings, one team that keeps responsibility for the cab, the stay and the guide, and no pressure for shopping or special darshan.
- How long does the road from Delhi take? About 3 to 3.5 hours for 170 km.
- Where should we stay? Near ISKCON and Prem Mandir, so evening aarti is a short walk.
- Can we do it with children and grandparents? Yes. We keep the walking light and use the nearest gate of each temple.
- Which season? October to March. Peaks are Oct to Dec when many UAE families travel.
