Where to eat in Vrindavan

Simple sattvik food, sweets and what to order, without upsetting your stomach on a long yatra day.

Food in Vrindavan is vegetarian, and many places also avoid onion and garlic. You will find thalis, kachori, jalebi, rabri and the famous Mathura peda all within a short walk of the main temples.

Choose busy places with quick turnover. Hot, freshly made food is safer for travellers than anything that has been sitting out. Carry your own bottled water.

For a quiet meal, ask your homestay host. A home-cooked thali after a long darshan day is hard to beat, and at Laladham that is exactly what we serve.

Offer prasad first if you are carrying any, and never waste food. Avoid heavy fried meals right before parikrama.

Planning your yatra? Radhe Radhe.

Fixed fares, Braj-local drivers and a warm stay at Laladham.
