Radha Bihari Misthan Bhandar (Banke Bihari temple market)
Mathura peda and khoya sweets. The shop's own claim is a sweet shop here since 1965
The quiet bower where Radha is said to adorn Krishna and the night's service begins.

Seva means loving service. Tradition holds that in this garden Radha and her friends (sakhis) decorate Krishna with flowers every evening. Lalita and Vishakha, the closest sakhis, prepare the sacred bed. The Gaudiya Vaishnavas call these pastimes the ashta-kaliya lila, the eight periods of the day.
Like Nidhivan, Seva Kunj is closed after sunset by custom, because the Divine Couple are believed to be present. The oldest descriptions of their grove pastimes are in the Bhagavata's Rasa chapters (Srimad Bhagavatam 10.29 to 10.33), which Rupa Goswami later expanded in Ujjvala-nilamani and Govinda-lilamrita (Krishnadas Kaviraj).
Visit in the morning with an empty mind. The quiet of the place is its message.
