Mathura Vrindavan tour package, 3 days in Braj

3 days, 2 nightsIncludes Gokul and RavalGood for families and elders

Three days lets you slow down. You have time for a second visit to a temple that moved you, a quiet morning on the Yamuna, and a slow walk through Gokul where Krishna crawled as a child.

Day 1: Mathura and Vrindavan

Janmasthan, Dwarkadhish and Vishram Ghat in the morning. After lunch Vrindavan: Banke Bihari (check season timings), ISKCON and Prem Mandir. Night at Laladham.

Day 2: Govardhan, Barsana, Nandgaon

Mansi Ganga and Daan Ghati, Radha Kund, then Barsana for Radha Rani's temple, and Nandgaon for Nand Baba. A long day, but the roads are fine and the village food is wonderful: kadhi, bajre ki roti in winter, and fresh buttermilk.

Day 3: Gokul, Mahavan, Raval

Gokul and Mahavan are where Krishna lived as an infant: Raman Reti, Nand Bhavan, Brahmand Ghat. Raval is the birthplace of Radha. End with Baldeo (Dauji) temple if time allows, then head back or onward to Delhi or Agra.

On day three keep slack in the afternoon. Delhi traffic on a Sunday evening can add an hour to the drive.

A promise we can keep

We follow the path Krishna gave in the Gita, keeping dharma at each place and keeping responsibility for everything we have said we will do. If your elders need a slower pace, tell us and we will change the day. That is the whole idea.

Good to know

Questions, answered

Is 3 days enough for Mathura Vrindavan?

Yes, for the main places and the village Braj. For the whole 84 kos circuit you need 4 to 6 days.

Can this be combined with Agra?

Yes. Replace one day with Agra, and keep Fridays free of the Taj Mahal, which is closed on Fridays.

Do you arrange the stay?

Yes, at Laladham, our own homestay. We can also help find another place if you prefer.

Is it suitable for senior citizens?

Yes. We keep the walking light, use the nearest gate at each temple, and plan rest in the afternoon.
